Ear piercing guns are not a safe and sterile way to get pierced. These guns are not designed to be sterilized and can pierce the skin at a very high pressure, which can cause trauma to the skin and increase the risk of infection. At Vela Body Piercing, we only use single-use, sterile piercing needles to ensure the safety and health of our customers.

Unfortunately not.

We do not allow customers to bring in previously worn jewellery or jewellery from elsewhere for the purposes of having them fitted in a fresh piercing. We pride ourselves on our high standards for cleanliness and sterile working and this includes knowing that our jewellery has only come from companies that sell implant grade, high quality jewellery.

At Vela Body Piercing, we take jewellery sterilisation very seriously. All of our body jewellery is sterilised using a Statim autoclave, which is a device that uses pressurised steam to sterilise. This ensures that all of our body jewellery is safe and free from any bacteria or germs prior to going in to a fresh piercing.

Yes! Our studio at Suite 201, Unit 4, Phenix Salon Suites, two snow hill, Snow Hill Queensway, Birmingham B4 6WR is fully wheelchair accessible. The studio has direct, step free access on the street outside and an accessible lift to our studio on the first floor.
